Sometimes one character isn’t enough, and two seem like they’re missing something. A triplicity of voices offers variety to the reader, viewer, or listener, making it easier for audiences to relate to the characters in front of them. “Triplicity” comes from the Latin prefix “tri-,” meaning “three,” and “plic,” meaning “to fold” (as in “threefold”).
